Decorative Pendant Lighting From Velcro By Rachel O’Neil

lumes and colors. That’s very original lighting made by surprisingly material by northern Irish artist and designer Rachel O’Neill.

Who knows Velcro? maybe some of you didn’t familiar with this material. Velcro is a brand name of fabric hook-and-loop fasteners. It consists of two layers: a “hook” side, which is a piece of fabric covered with tiny hooks, and a “loop” side, which is covered with even smaller and “hairier” loops. When the two sides are pressed together, the hooks catch in the loops and hold the pieces together. When the layers are separated, the strips make a characteristic “ripping” sound. Velcro is OK for Rachel, she could changing this material into nice pendant lighting with using range of Velcro color. Red, Socking pink, green also presenting black and white series.

This beautiful pendant lighting absolutely presenting romantic touch with this layer. The designer also combined feathers and metallic finishes. The results are as you will see are completely unique and original. Love this pink one.
