Ultra Modern Urban Space Shop Interior Design at AYRES

The interior project of this urban space shop interior design seeks to reproduce sensations of urban space within the local: the possibility of surprises, unexpected encounters, contrasts and spaces that change according to the perspective. So the city is perceived as moving in any way and offers many surprises from a starting point and another of arrival, local changes as they move from one place to another. The movement is not horizontal or vertical but a permanent combination of both.

Designed by Buenos Aires architects Dieguez Fridman Arquitectos & Asociados. The initial concept of this ultra modern flagship store for female fashion brand Ayres Store is a brilliant white object shape-shifting which integrates the walls, floor and ceiling. The materials and geometry are combined into a game of contrasts between light and dark, between the smooth bright and rugged imperfect and between the diagonal and parallel lines.

Different elements produce surprises and take us away from the traditional model. The floor is not one plane but a combination of steps and ramps and other materials. The same applies to the roof, hard to identify between the folds of the ramp that becomes ceiling. When you enter is not the clothes or the entire space, but both are being discovered as it travels. At the same time there are collections; one discovers a hidden courtyard with steps from the front. Testers are a maze of mirrors in which clothes can be seen from unexpected angles, transforming the experience of try on a garment involving the buying, products and space. Through collaboration with industrial designers and lighting, different systems are proposed to expose and highlight the different lines of clothing. The facade of zinc in the same gesture seeks to adapt to the fronts of nearby houses in accordance with their heights, and introducing a new material to the cityscape of Palermo Soho.
