Designed by Julio Barreno Architect, This new completed interior renovation project of a traditional patio house in Ubrique, Spain is very interesting example of building rehabilitation. Bold and imaginative in a few regulatory constraints certainly exaggerated and seemingly complex in physical conditions, and the result of continuous research and deduction that generates most of the decisions that the proposed project as is found in the description of the project.
An inner courtyard of the first floor is perhaps the most important because it gets light and ventilates all rooms into the house taking into account of the difficulty on your plant. Along with the facades are the elements that are preserved together with part of the original structure. We see the court as envisaged under a convention and the walls, floors and treatments, are typical of any middle-class house-high polished marble, glass enclosure with wooden frames and an accent color as not to vitiate the atmosphere. I think this project could have exploited a much stronger character of the house, as is its history. Still though, I am convinced that the people who live there should be enjoying a wonderful time.
